Congratulations to Professor Bao-Lian Su, the Editor-in-Chief of Chemical Synthesis, for being elected as the new President of the International Mesostructured Materials Association (IMMA)
The 11th International Mesostructured Materials Symposium (IMMS11), hosted by the International Mesoscopic Structural Materials Association (IMMA) and organized by Dalian University of Technology, has been successfully held from September 5 to September 8, 2021, at Dalian International Finance Conference Center in Dalian, Liaoning Province, China. At this symposium, Professor Bao-Lian Su, the Editor-in-Chief of Chemical Synthesis, won the "IMMA Award" and was elected as the new President of IMMA.
IMMA was created by a decision of the International Advisory Board of ISMMS2000, at the occasion of the 2nd International Symposium on Mesoporous Molecular Sieves (ISMMS2000) held in Québec City, Canada. The IMMA Award is awarded to researchers worldwide who have made outstanding contributions in the field of mesostructured materials. The selection is conducted every three years, with only one IMMA Award winner at a time.
Based on the outstanding contribution in the field of mesostructured materials made by Professor Bao-Lian Su, IMMA awarded him this award in 2021. Here, we extend our warm congratulations to Professor Su, the Editor-in-Chief of Chemical Synthesis!
