Bio
Prof. Wei-Hua Chen is a Professor and PhD supervisor in College of Chemistry & Green Catalysis Center at Zhengzhou University, China.

Prof. Wei-Hua Chen obtained her PhD degree from School of Chemistry and Molecular Science, Wuhan University in 2009. Then she joined College of Chemistry & Green Catalysis Center at Zhengzhou University in 2010. Moreover, she has been successively selected as "Yangtze River Young Scholars" by the Ministry of Education (2020), “Zhongyuan Thousand Talent Program”-Zhongyuan Young Top Talents (2019) and Science and Technology Innovation Talents in Universities in Henan Province. She is also a member of the Second Professional Committee of Energy Storage Engineering of the Chinese Chemical Society, a member of International Electrochemistry and the Chinese Chemical Society.

She has published more than 120 academical papers (such as Chem., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Adv. Mater., Nat. Commun., Nano Research, Sci. China-Mater., J. Energy Chem. and so on), holds 17 granted patents and is invited to write the chapter in English book of “Handbook of sodium-ion Batteries: Materials and Characterizations”.

Prof. Chen’s research mainly focuses on the research work related to the design and synthesis of electrode materials, electrolyte/separator and interface regulation for economic, safe and green battery’s system.

electrochemical interface engineering, electrolyte/separator, electrode materials’ design and synthesis, sodium-ion battery.
