Welcome Professor Bao-Lian Su as the Editor-in-Chief for the New Journal Chemical Synthesis

OAE is honored to have successfully invited Professor Bao-Lian Su from the University of Namur and Wuhan University of Technology to be the Editor-in-Chief for the new journal Chemical Synthesis.

Prof. Su is a member of the European Academy of Sciences, a member of the Royal Academy of Belgium, a fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry and a life member of Clare Hall in University of Cambridge, who held “Belgian Francqui Chaire” during 2012-2013. He is also the first Chinese to gain the highest honor of the Belgian scientific community.

The current research fields of Prof. Su include the synthesis, the property study and the molecular engineering of zeolites, highly organized and hierarchically porous materials, bio-integrated living and bio-inspired materials for catalysis, photocatalysis, artificial photosynthesis, nanotechnology, biotechnology, energy storage and conversion and cell therapy. He has published 540 SCI papers with more than 20,000 citations and an H index of 77. He is a highly cited scientist, as well as a coordinator and a principal leader of more than 70 research and collaborative projects. Besides, having organized many international conferences as the chairman of the organizing committee and delivered reports, he has received numerous recognitions and honors for his research.

Chemical Synthesis is an international peer-reviewed, open access, online journal launched by OAE Publishing Inc. This journal will report the research progress of chemical synthesis from the perspectives of organic synthesis chemistry, inorganic synthesis chemistry, polymer synthesis chemistry, synthetic biochemistry, etc.

The Editorial Office of Chemical Synthesis highly appreciate Prof. Su’s support and will work jointly to create a high-level journal with international influence. We believe that with the joint efforts of Prof. Su and all members of the Editorial Board and the Editorial Office, this goal will be achieved in the near future.
